More Than 50 Years of Photography in Oklahoma
Candid Color Photography began in Oklahoma in the late 1960s, originally photographing students and events on college campuses.
Over the decades, our work expanded into schools, youth sports, athletic programs, graduations, portraits, and large-scale photography events.
Today, our photographers work with organizations of many sizes—from small teams and graduating classes to large athletic programs and commencement ceremonies with thousands of participants.
That experience has taught us that successful photography requires more than someone behind a camera.
It requires planning, organization, dependable photographers, participant identification, image management, convenient ordering, professional production, and reliable delivery.
Our team helps manage that entire process.
A New Home for Sports Photography
Sports photography has become an increasingly important part of what we do.
Today’s athletes and athletic programs want more than the traditional team photograph. They want images that capture personality, energy, school pride, and the excitement surrounding their season.
Candid Color Photography provides sports photography for youth leagues, schools, colleges, universities, and athletic organizations throughout Oklahoma.
Services can include traditional team and individual portraits, high-impact Media Days, action photography, senior recognition, composites, hype photography and video, and custom photo products.
The new website gives those services more room to grow and makes it easier for coaches and athletic directors to explore photography options for their programs.
A Dedicated Home for Graduation Photography
Graduation is another major focus for Candid Color Photography.
We work with schools, colleges, and universities to photograph commencement ceremonies while keeping the photography process organized for graduates, families, and school staff.
Depending on the program, our graduation services can include stage photography, handshake photographs, individual graduate portraits, cap and gown photography, ceremony coverage, graduate identification, personalized galleries, and direct family ordering.
Whether a school graduates 50 students in a gymnasium or thousands in a large arena, our team creates a photography plan around the venue, graduate count, and ceremony schedule.

Photography Built Around Your Program
One of the most important things we wanted the new Candid Color Photography website to communicate is that no two programs are exactly alike.
A youth sports league with several hundred athletes has different needs from a high school football team.
A graduation ceremony in an arena requires a different photography plan than a senior cap and gown portrait session.
A traditional school Photo Day requires a different approach than a high-energy athletic Media Day.
Our job is to understand the program first and build the photography process around it.
That may include planning photography stations, coordinating schedules, managing participant information, creating personalized galleries, handling family ordering, producing custom products, or simply making sure Photo Day runs efficiently.
The photography matters.
So does everything that makes the photography possible.
